Diversity Week | Understanding Implicit Bias in Higher Education | Virtual Event

Participants reflect while gaining a greater understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the context of higher education. This brief workshop serves as an important foundation for understanding how one’s implicit bias impact their leadership, personal, and professional growth.

• Explore proactive approaches to identifying and eliminating discrimination and bias in the workplace.
• Learn ways how diversity is viewed, expressed, and valued by students and colleagues.
• Identify and discuss strategies to effectively take ownership of diversity initiatives.
