About this Event
Despite decades of research, neuropsychological tests that clearly differentiate between Alzheimer’s dementia and late-life depression have yet to be agreed upon. Given this gap in knowledge and the rapid deployment of pharmacological interventions for the two disorders, conducting an accurate and affordable clinical diagnosis using evidence-based assessment is essential. This presentation will cover the most recent research on this topic and identify neuropsychological tests and domains of functioning that are useful for differential diagnosis.
